MMA’s dragNET proving successful for de-orbiting Minotaur Upper Stage orbital debris

In a recent interview with MMA regarding the dragNET De-orbit System, “The DoD Space Test Program (STP) is very pleased how the dragNET De-orbit System is working; even with an offset in the placement, we have at least a 50% reduction in the time to deorbit the upper stage.  STP can plan spacecraft missions in the future knowing that we can leverage dragNET to meet the National Space Policy 25 year deorbit requirement”, Theodore Marrujo, Chief Engineer of DoD Space Test Program, Advanced Systems and Development Directorate, said by email.
